In the Commission documents for 2019 and 2020, the Norwegian Minister of Health has explicitly asked for initiatives that can accelerate the implementation of precision medicine both, in research and standard patient care.

CONNECT replied to this by creating a unique national partnership where the central players join forces to accelerate the implementation of precision medicine.

​

CONNECT partners include Norwegian university hospitals, pharmaceutical and technology companies, the Norwegian Cancer Society as patient organisation, the Pharmaceutical Industry Association (LMI), the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, the Norwegian Medicine Agency and the Norwegian Directorate of Health.

The consortium is open to include new partners from the industry and public sector.
